Sydney Covey

Sydney Covey is at the helm of the Energy and Sustainability team, where she collaborates closely with clients to realize their sustainable building aspirations. With profound experience in sustainable design and construction, Sydney devises innovative solutions that consistently meet and surpass certification standards. Sydney started in the construction industry as a Sustainability Analyst with Hourigan, where she made significant contributions to the renowned Brock Environmental Center, a LEED Platinum-certified facility that’s celebrated as one of the world’s foremost sustainable buildings. Among her notable achievements is her role in the development of Virginia Wesleyan University’s Greer Environmental Science Center, which boasts cutting-edge sustainable design elements like geothermal ground-source heat exchange and photovoltaic panels.

Sydney Covey is a dedicated professional and passionate advocate for conscious living. She serves on the U.S. Green Building Council Virginia’s Market Leadership Advisory Board.  Sydney is a trailblazer in her community, working with numerous local organizations developing pragmatic strategies that tackle the challenges of sea-level rise in Virginia’s coastal areas.

Mark Greenwalt

Mark Greenwalt applies more than 40 years of dynamic industry experience to yield construction solutions for a broad spectrum of owners, architects, and investors. Using his analytical agility and Powers of 10 thinking, Mark is widely regarded as the “go-to” resource for projects ranging from education, scientific research, and classified facilities to formal gardens.

Throughout his career, Mark has helped leaders from Fortune 500 companies and regional firms to emerging businesses and local boards think through the possibilities of the “WHAT IFs” in the built environment and how to maximize the value of their capital investments. Highly respected for his exacting attention to detail and expansive knowledge of construction means, methods, and material cost information, Mark has produced an impressive record of results for his clients.

Paul Broadstone

Paul Broadstone brings 14 years of construction industry experience to STRUCTR’s Virtual Design and Construction team, with a career built on putting technology to work in ways that make projects run smarter, faster, and with fewer costly surprises. His expertise spans BIM coordination, reality capture, 4D and 5D modeling, and the full suite of VDC tools that turn complex construction challenges into clear, actionable solutions.

Prior to joining STRUCTR, Paul served in VDC leadership roles with some of the nation’s largest general contractors, as well as specialized regional GC and EPCM firms. He has driven innovation and project execution across highly complex projects, including classified government facilities, healthcare and life sciences, major commercial renovations, higher education institutions, and large-scale manufacturing facilities.

A Virginia Tech graduate with both a BS in Management and an MS in Building and Construction Science Management, he also holds a licensed sUAS pilot certification and has co-authored published research on multi-trade prefabrication.
